The Last of Us Joel in Watercolor / The Last of Us Joel ad Acquerello

One of my watercolor drawing dedicated to Joel the male protagonist of the video game "The Last of Us"
I first prepartum a draft of the design with a classic pencil HB.
Once that is done I played my comp in a sheet of Fabriano watercolor paper brand.
To do this this time I used a pencil lighter, a 2H.
With the rubber then I removed all the construction lines and I started using watercolors of Winsor & Newton.
At the end since the color has dried I gave it more volume through the watercolor pencils Lyra and both the Faber Castell.
As a final touch I lightly shaded watercolor pencils.
The end result has convinced me and I was pleasantly satisfied.


Un mio disegno ad acquerello dedicato a Joel il protagonista maschile del videogioco "The Last of Us"
Come prima cosa ho preparto una bozza del disegno con una matita classica HB.
Una volta fatto ciò ho riprodotto il mio bozzetto in un foglio di carta per acquerello marca Fabriano.
Per fare questa operazione questa volta ho usato una matita più leggera; una 2H.
Con la gomma poi ho tolto tutte le linee di costruzione e ho iniziato ad usare gli acquerelli della Winsor & Newton.
Alla fine quanto il colore si è asciugato ho dato più volume attraverso le matite acquerellabili sia della Lyra sia della Faber Castell.
Come ultimo tocco ho leggermente sfumato le matite acquerellabili.
Il risultato finale mi ha convinto e ne sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto.
